Homework Policy / Late Work

Work is expected to be turned in the class period it is due – no exceptions!  If it is not turned in on time, it will be charged a 50% late penalty off the top, then minus however many missed.  THIS IS COSTLY!!!!  You need to remember to bring your completed assignments to class.

If you are absent, it is imperative that you put “AB” or absent by your name so that you are NOT charged the late fee.  This is your responsibility to remember.

Grades

Grades are posted by their individual ID number and sorted randomly.  If your number is NOT given out, there should be no way for other students to figure it out your grade.  If I have not received your grade, there will be an INC or blank in place of a grade.  This means you need to check.  You either did not turn it in or turned it in without a name on it.  I do not lose papers.  Check the out box first.

Assignments

There are plenty of places to find the assignments.  Student agenda’s should have a chapter of science or novel assignments at a time.  I also post them the first semester on the board in my room and of course they are on the website.  NO EXCUSES for forgetting!  Besides the fact you can get the textbooks online and have access to worksheets, I’d say apathy will be your only excuse for no homework.
