Compromised Accounts and Phishing Emails - September 21, 2026
River Bend Families and Staff,
We are aware of several staff and student accounts that have been compromised. If you received any Docusign emails or emails regarding ScreenConnect from a River Bend email, please delete those. Do NOT mark the user as spam or phishing as that will prevent them from sending you any emails once we have their accounts recovered.
If you did interact with the links in any of those emails, you will want to contact your technical support or change your password to your account immediately. It is also best practice to sign out of your account on all devices once you have changed your password so that you would be forced to sign back in (this would help prevent a hacker from continuing to use your account from an already signed in session)

Steps to secure Gmail
Go to the Google Account Device Activity Page to sign out of your Google account across your devices.
Steps to Sign Out Remotely
- Open the Google Account Device Activity Page while signed into your Google account.
- Review the list under Your devices to see where you are logged in.
- Click or tap on a specific device you want to remove.
- Select Sign out and confirm when prompted.
- Repeat this manual process for every listed device, as Google does not provide a single-click "sign out all" button.
Additional Security Steps
- Change your Google account password immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or see an unfamiliar device.
- Changing your password automatically forces a log out on many active web sessions and connected apps.
