Located in Fulton, Illinois, we serve the communities of Albany, Fulton, and Garden Plain. We have a great staff, great students, and we work hard to keep our high school one of the best in the area. We offer many educational opportunities for our students. Students have the opportunity to take classes at Morrison Institute of Technology, Whiteside Area Career Center, Sauk Valley Community College, and Clinton Community College. We focus on preparing our students for future success in college and careers!

Dear Fulton High School Staff, Students, and Families,
Get ready for an incredible 2025-2026 school year! I'm thrilled to be returning for my third year as Principal of Fulton High School, and I'll also be taking on the role of Athletic Director. I'm excited to welcome Nicole Bowers as our new Assistant Principal. We're confident that together, we'll be a strong leadership team for FHS!
The River Bend District has truly become a 
wonderful home for my family. As I begin my 34th year in education, we're eager to continue making a positive difference for our staff, students, and the entire community. At Fulton High School, we've built a culture that truly stands out. Our teachers and students clearly understand what's expected of them, both individually and as a group. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we live by the motto: "Be Proactive, Rather than Reactive." The connections we've made with our colleagues and students over the years are something we truly value. We genuinely care about every single student who walks through our doors.
The River Bend District has been an amazing place for both me and my wife, Kelli. She's currently the Assistant Superintendent for River Bend Schools and will be moving into the Superintendent's role next school year. We have two children: Michael (31), a police officer in Metamora, and his wife, Claire, who are expecting their first child in October 2025! Our daughter, Kristen (29), lives in Roseville, IL, with her husband, Jason, and their four-year-old son, Kamdyn. Kristen is a dedicated Special Education teacher at the Junior High in the Monmouth-Roseville School District and is also the Head Volleyball Coach for the district.

Welcome Mrs. Bowers, Assistant Principal!
I’m honored to be joining Fulton High School as the new Assistant Principal for the 2025–26 school year. After 12 years in education—including 10 at Riverdale and 2 at Fulton—it feels great to return to a place that truly feels like home.
I graduated from Erie High School in 2008 and earned my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Ashford University. I also hold two master’s degrees from Western Governors University: one in Curriculum and Instruction, and another in Educational Leadership.
My husband, Cody, and I are proud parents of two wonderful children, Aleigha and Brantley. As a parent and educator, I’m passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment where students and staff can thrive.
I’m thrilled to work alongside our dedicated team at FHS and excited about what’s ahead for our school community. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to support, collaborate, and cheer on our Steamers every step of the way.
