Dual Credit Information

General Education Core Curriculum suggestions for students seeking dual credit from Sauk Valley CC or Clinton CC - EICC. These suggestions will help you decide on what courses will transfer to colleges as basic required general education credits.


Sauk Valley Community College:

Sauk has provided a comprehensive presentation explaining their Dual Credit opportunities. There is information on the definition on Dual Credit to the Cost of credits and how to's when enrolling and using their website. Click on this link, SVCC Dual Credit Information, to learn more.

Sauk is pleased to announce the launch of "Test Drive" an online course shell that allows a prospective online learner to explore everything that an SVCC online course has to offer. A student can navigate through the link, Test Drive, on their own without any need to log in.

How do I begin? is a flow chart that provides a quick look at how to start the Dual Credit process.

Once a student decides to participate in Dual Credit, they will need to Register to take the class(es). SVCC Dual Credit Registration will provide students with a step by step process to get enrolled.

Often questions will pop up concerning many issues with SVCC classes. SVCC Dual Credit Help will direct students on how to find answers to frequently asked questions and who to contact if they get stumped.

Clinton Community College:

Online Orientation for Clinton CC Dual Credit courses taken through Clinton Community College. This video will show students how to get started and all expectations of a college student taking classes at EICC-Clinton CC.

If you're not already taking classes from Clinton Community College, you probably know classmates who are. Thousands of high school students have taken classes at Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges (EICC).
