Remote day Tuesday January 16th
Dear River Bend Families,
Our extremely cold weather tomorrow -35 at 8am and warming to -22 by 2 pm does not make it safe for travel. Our country roads are still a bit messy with snow drifts. River Bend will have a remote learning day Tuesday, January 16th. No WACC and No after school activities.
Wednesday is showing a warming trend so we hope to have school in session. If something changes, notifications will go out immediately. Please note that the temperatures will still be bitter cold on Wednesday morning, but above the sustained wind chill threshold for being in attendance. Parents have the option of making a decision based upon the safety of students and individual circumstances for traveling to school.
