PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Education of River Bend C.U.S.D. #2 in the County of Whiteside, State of Illinois, that it will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 6:30pm at the River Bend District Office located at 1110 3rd Street, Fulton, IL 61252. The purpose of the meeting will be to hold a public hearing concerning a renewal of a previously approved waiver to 105 ILCS 5/27-6 in regards to students in grades K-8 not being required to have Physical Education per School Code but instead to allow students the opportunity to participate in art, music, health, and STEM activities on a rotating basis with physical education class.
WE ARE NOTIFYING all citizens of River Bend C.U.S.D. #2 to attend this hearing to give input to the Board regarding the modification to the School Code.
